Solomon Islands Basketball Federation (SIBF)
Basketball in the Solomon Islands is growing at the grassroots level, especially among youth. The Solomon Islands Basketball Federation (SIBF) supports national development and has achieved success in regional competitions such as the Pacific Games. The federation also leads community initiatives through FIBA’s “Basketball for Good” programs.
Life in the Solomon Islands is centered on community. The “Melanesian Way” emphasizes relationships, shared responsibility, and harmony over individual gain.
